SEO Content Published Into the Website You Already Have

Own-site publishing is any Zahavah Studio package run on a website you already own, instead of one we build. You keep your site, your hosting and your developers. We write the pages, do the on-page SEO on each one, and publish them straight into your system through its API. Every package is R500 a month less this way, with no setup fee and a once-off API integration of R7,000.

An API, short for application programming interface, is the doorway a custom-built website leaves open for other software to add and edit content. If your site has one, we audit the site, connect to that doorway once, and from then on each page lands in your site with its title, meta description, schema markup, images and internal links in place.

It works on a site built on our platform or on a custom build with an API. It does not work on WordPress or another legacy platform, and we do not build or publish on those, because the site under the content caps what the content can do.

How the API integration works

• We audit the site first: speed, code, indexing, and whether the pages we publish will be read the way they are written
• Your developers give us the API and a place for the pages to live, usually a blog or knowledge section
• We connect once and test with a draft, so both sides see the page arrive in the right shape
• From then on, each page in your package publishes straight in, with its on-page SEO, images and links
• Your site, its speed, security and hosting stay with you and your developers throughout

The API integration is a once-off R7,000. There is no setup fee on an own-site package, and the minimum term of six months is the same as every package.

Where our responsibility ends and yours begins

The pages, their on-page SEO, images and links are ours to deliver. Hosting, uptime, speed, security, the indexing of the rest of the site, and any site work sit with you and your developers. Where a site problem stops the pages performing, we say so in the report, and site work is available separately by the hour.

This is the honest version of an arrangement most agencies leave vague. A page can be written and optimised perfectly and still not rank if the site it lands on takes six seconds to open on a phone. We tell you when that is the case rather than send another month of pages into it.

Why not WordPress

Not out of snobbery. WordPress runs a large share of the web and it can be made to rank. What it cannot do is stay fast without constant attention, and it carries no clean doorway for us to publish into without a plugin sitting in the middle. The content we publish is built to be read by Google and by AI tools, and a slow, plugin-heavy site under it undoes the work.
